Meet Lyanne Azqueta
Licensed Mental Health Counselor and National Master Addiction Counselor
Addiction, Trauma and Couples Therapist in Jupiter, Florida
Lyanne Azqueta, LMHC, MAC, NCC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 30 years of experience providing trauma informed psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families seeking thoughtful, private and deeply personalized care. Her practice is designed for clients who value depth, discretion and a collaborative therapeutic relationship rather than rushed sessions or standardized treatment models.
Lyanne works with individuals navigating addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression and complex family or relationship dynamics. Her work is grounded in the understanding that many emotional and behavioral patterns develop as adaptive responses to early experiences, chronic stress or nervous system dysregulation. Therapy focuses on helping clients understand these patterns with compassion while building the insight, emotional regulation and resilience needed for lasting change.

• Family recovery and relational healing
• Codependency and boundary work
• Nervous system regulation and trauma recovery
Many of the individuals and families Lyanne works with are seeking deeper insight and change after previous therapy experiences have not fully addressed the underlying patterns shaping their lives.
What is Lyanne’s approach to addiction and trauma treatment?
As a National Master Addiction Counselor, Lyanne brings advanced expertise in clinical assessment, relapse prevention and long term recovery work.

• Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)
• Psychodrama and experiential therapy
• Family systems therapy
• Advanced relapse prevention counseling
This integrative approach allows therapy to move beyond symptom management toward deeper emotional healing and integration.
What is Lyanne’s approach to therapy?
Lyanne’s work is warm, grounded and insight oriented. She partners closely with clients to help them understand how trauma shapes emotional patterns and relationships while developing healthier and more authentic ways of living.
Her practice allows for extended sessions and flexible pacing so that the therapeutic process can unfold thoughtfully and without the constraints of insurance driven care. This approach allows clients to explore their experiences in greater depth and work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
How is Lyanne involved in community leadership and advocacy?
In addition to her clinical work, Lyanne has long been involved in leadership within the fields of mental health, education and community development.
